Lance Elllington

The powerful and evocative vocal style of Lance Ellington is well known to millions as one of the extraordinary singers behind the hugely successful global phenomena that is Strictly Come Dancing. While his name may only now have become familiar, his unique voice and charismatic style have already entertained more than 30million people worldwide.

Iconic TV presenter and music aficionado Michael Parkinson, who has championed many worldwide artists recently said of Lance Ellington; “Lance Ellington has a wonderful voice and a smooth style, all of his own”.

Lance is the son of legendary 1950’s bandleader Ray Ellington, whose elegant vocal style has been in great demand from the world’s top recording artists, having worked with the crème de la crème of artists such as Sting, George Michael and Robbie Williams.

There’s no doubt that Lance has inherited his father’s rich talent. Aside from being heard on numerous Film and TV projects such as X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, Lance also appeared as his father in the movie The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, starring  alongside Geoffrey Rush and Charlize Theron. This project gave him the inspiration to record his first album Lessons In Love; a tribute to the halcyon era of the big bands and crooners of the 1950’s. The success of this album gave birth to the songs that became the new album, There Comes A Time. This has already spawned an army of A-list supporters including, Michael Parkinson, Des O’Connor and Bruce Forsyth. Lance has also received platinum and gold discs for his songwriting for Steps and Westlife.
