Annie Skates: Director
Annie’s colourful singing career spans concert, television, musical theatre, film and album recording work, and she is also a sought-after vocal coach and arranger.She is probably best known for her role as vocal coach for Simon Cowell's winning team on ITV's 'The X Factor'. As a singer she appears regularly on TV and in concert and her arrangements can be heard on numerous chart albums and singles.
David Combes: Musical Theatre
Over his diverse career David has built a strong reputation on the London session singing circuit and has sung with Beyoncé Knowles, Westlife, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Lemar, Keith Urban and Faith Hill. He can be heard on numerous prime time TV shows including ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘Grease is the Word’ and has provided backing vocals for ‘The X Factor’ as well as ‘The X Factor – Battle of the Stars’.
Lucy Bateman: Theatre, TV, Commercials
In 1973 Lucy won a scholarship to Trinity College of Music at the age of 11. At 17 she decided to concentrate on languages and gained a BA Hons in Linguistics and Language Pathology in 1983. However her first job drew her straight back into music in 1984 when she joined The Really Useful Group when she was one of only six in the company.
